160 Rubric for Assignment 2: Audio Portrait of a Person

 Key Points: Story, pacing, transitions, clear audio, track hierarchy/audio levels that prioritize person's voice, all mini-assignments completed, good teamwork
Concept: Was there a clear, engaging story with universal appeal?  And was it communicated clearly through structure, sequence and pacing?
Technical: Was their audio clear and did they record properly using the correct settings? Roomtone?
Editing: Did they use the tools that were covered in lecture and lab, like transitions and track hierarchy?
Team Player: Were they communicative and collaborative with their partners? Did they share the interview and pre-interview time effectively?


Timeliness: Was the project completed, exported and uploaded to the blog by the deadline?
Workflow: Did they participate in a pre-interview, did they come up with interview questions and find a quiet place to record? Did they make a transcript? Did they use class time wisely when editing? Did they send Becky a rough draft?  Did they set up their folder structure and Premiere project properly and back-up all their files on two hard drives?
