Screen Audio Portrait Projects

Your piece should be uploaded to Soundcloud or Vimeo and linked to your blog before midnight tonight. If it’s not, we won’t be able to play it during class. You should aim to have your piece finished by tonight but I can give you until Sunday the 15th to finish it if you need more time and/or want to re-edit after getting feedback during lab. But the 15th is a hard, no excuses deadline. (Even if you’re sick, your hard drive dies and Premiere explodes, etc.)

Unfortunately there won’t be time in lab for a typical feedback session, but as we listen, everyone will write down on a slip of paper two things that were working in each piece and two things that weren’t working, and pass these slips to the media maker.

Go over Project 3, Storyboards and Production Documents

You’ll be shooting your piece during next week’s lab and your production documents are due Tuesday before midnight. (Note this is a Tuesday and not a Wednesday so I can go over them during lecture and *hopefully* give you feedback.)

Refining Audio Portrait Roughcuts 1. Work in groups of 2 or 3 (partners posted below) to give feedback and share technical skills (45 min - 1hr)     a.  Explain the story/portrait to your partner(s) in less than one minute.           b.
